Yes. Without sugar, beef jerky can be a healthy and convenient way to get your low-carb, high-protein fix. One serving of JustMeat original flavor jerky contains 18 grams of protein and is packed with healthy minerals such as iron, zinc and magnesium.

Not always but ours is. Beef jerky can be a great Keto snack because it's high in protein but watch out for the carbs. Most beef jerky manufacturers have sugar as a primary ingredient to add weight to their product. That being said, our beef jerky is very lean so in order to get a higher fat content for keto, consider pairing it with some dips or cheese as a great way to add fats when snacking on jerky - or just eat it on its own!

The simplest answer is yes as beef jerky is not raw. Yet it is not “cooked” in a traditional way such as in an oven or on a stovetop. Our beef jerky is slowly dehydrated after meeting USDA required temperature levels to ensure a safe and wholesome product.

This depends on ingredients added to the marinade of the beef jerky. Our beef jerky will have trace amounts of gluten due to the wheat found in our all natural soy sauce.

Beef jerky ranges from highly processed to minimally processed. Our jerky is all natural and as minimally processed as possible. We just marinate and dehydrate, just like you would at home when making beef jerky. The less processed, the better.

Beef is about 65% water, so when it is dried most of the weight evaporates. It takes almost 3 lbs of high quality beef to make 1 lb of our jerky. Jerky companies use sugar as their main ingredient to increase the weight so customers feel they are getting more jerky (and as a way to increase their profits). We never use sugar, artificial preservatives, or any fillers in our beef jerky. Bottom line is, our beef jerky is not “expensive”, it’s worth it.

Unlike other beef jerky manufacturers that outsource purchasing and production to Mexico and other countries and claim “packaged in the USA”, JustMeat is dedicated to buying locally sourced beef, employing our people locally in the United States and manufacturing all our products in the USA. Shipping is free on all orders to the United States. We also offer expedited shipping within the United States for an additional fee at checkout.

We love the beef jerky we make and think that you will too. If you ever receive a defective product, please contact us within 14 days of purchase at support@justmeatjerky.com and we will be happy to replace it for the same item you ordered or provide a full refund.

You can track your order with your order number here. Please note that it often takes the service carrier 24-48 hours to scan a package and then update the tracking information within their system. Rest assured that your order has shipped and is on its way to you! You should be able to see an update within 2 business days of shipment.

We ship out all orders within one to two business days. Within the United States, your package will arrive 3-7 days after shipping. If you purchase expedited shipping, your package will arrive two business days after it is shipped.

Yes! We offer UPS 2 Day Shipping within the United States for a fee at checkout. This allows for you to receive your package 2 business days after it is shipped. Expedited shipping fees are non-refundable. Please note that if you are shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, PO Boxes, or a US Territory, expedited shipping may take additional time but will be faster than our free shipping method.
